Swedish adventure: Part 5

Swedish adventure: part 5

So it's Thursday and the alarm clock is on. There was no class for Simonita so we just could enjoy of some time for us together. That day was when we decided to visit the city of Karlstad! What did we have for lunch? I think that was the cuscús day, we had it with meat and other thigns, how is it called? I just remember that I liked it a lot hehe. I like food in general and Swedish food is really tasty and good (also a bit heavier than Spanish food). By the way, I cutted the meat, I'm learned a lot about cooking in those days hehe.

That was the official day of joking on Andrés, the first one was the busdriver! We arrived to that frozen bus station where we met a friend of Simone and her boyfriend, they talked in English, wich was really nice. Then the bus arrived, Simone told him that she wanted to pay twice (cause I didn't have a card), so the guy said something in Swedish and then I heard "Joking Busdriver!!" with a very strong Karlstad accent (yes! I know about the Karlstad accent, I prefer Katrineholm's accent).

We arrived to the city and saw the place of something related with the Swedish Rally. We saw the main square of the city, the bars and a couple of places with a lot of stores. It was snowing a lot that day! But it was really a nice walk with she by my side. I liked the city a lot, seemed more busy than Katrineholm. We saw Spanish people! And one of the most important things ever: I discovered the hockey game! We have something similar but with football, we call it "futbolín" so the name for the hockey game could be "hockeylin" or something like that. I told it to a friend of mine here in the uni and he said "does that really exist? I want that!". Which is exactly the same that I said when I saw it. Then simone told me that she had one in her father's house and that was like one of the greatest news ever! In Sweden you have a lot of hockey things, that's really nice, I prefer hockey than football since I think that football can be very boring sometimes (not when Spain won the world championship).

I'll try to continue tonight, now I have to leave and go to class.

I hope you have enjoyed it.

Be awesome!

Swedish adventure: Part 4

Wednesday morning.
My first morning and my first Swedish breakfast! The best thing was, of course, to be with min flicka, but after that I had new food to try! That's awesome since I love food, really. I could be a very fat guy only eating all day. But I'm not :)

We had the same more or less everyday as breakfast, bread with butter and cheese, a tea (or a coffee) and an orange (or mixed fruits) juice. Which is a very good breakfast and I loved it :)

That day we went to the grocery store to buy food (Andrés very happy), I bought nacho chips and chocolate (Andrés even more happy), which was all an adventure. Simone left me alone in the place with the chips and the chocolate and she pretended me to buy in a language that I don't know!! Well, I think I didn't do it that bad so...

We arrived home with the new food and cooked! I don't use to cook, only pasta and sandwiches, so it also was an adventure. We ate some kind of Swedish sausage with vegetables. It was really good. I like the flavour of Swedish food, it's pretty different than Spanish food flavour, it tastes completly different in a very good way :)

After lunch we had a 3 hours class... I met some friends of her and well, tried to stay awake in a class where the teacher spoke a language I couldn't understand! haha, but some of the things that she teached to her alumns I already knew! So I could get some of the things that she said!

Rest for the coffee, I bought a coffee too! Myself!! With my Swedish money! I think I did it good :) Then more class and time to go back home.
What did we do then? "Homework" for the Spanish class, I have to put the "" things because we did it by talking. In the class they had to talk about things so the "homework" was to talk hehe.

Pancakes time! It was a very Swedish day for me, before we went to the Spanish class we cooked pancakes! Even me!! I have to say that some of them died :( but we ate them even when they were ugly :) they were so good. Next time I go there we will cook more pancakes :)

We had to run a bit because the pancake cooking took more time than expected but we arrived on time. I have to say that I liked to walk in the cold. Why? Because when you arrive to the place you are walking to it's so warm, I think that's one of the biggest pleasures in life with clothes on, behind eating!
The class was very good. The teacher was nice and she kicks my ass talking Swedish :( But well, it was a Spanish class so I kicked ass to the people there haha. They talked about their future plans (all of them said "travel and see the world") and well, we talked a bit, they asked me questions and in general I had a very good time there :)
When the class finished we went home, around 20:30 maybe. In the way home I could enjoy a short walk in the Swedish night, which is very beautiful with so much snow.

What else... We arrived home at that hour, 20:30, we had nothing to do before going to sleep except enjoy a very warm shower (I'm not used to use the water that hot, your temperature was a bit too hot at the beginning, but then was nice). In Spain you would have to dinner, because we have dinner around half past nine, depending on the day it can be later, but not there! So just time to relax, talk a bit with the girls in the house, watch the TV with min flicka tight to me and then way to the bed. Now that I write all of that I realize that it was a long day, we walked a lot, went to a lot of class and bought some things.
It's very easy to sleep when you do a lot of things during the day. But it's even easier when you feel that you are with the one that you love between your arms.

I'll try to blog tomorrow, but I don't know if I'll have time to write. This weekend I have been studying and doing some stuff that I needed to do, I hope you still enjoy reading it ;)

Be awesome!

Swedish adventure: Part 3

So we were in Anne's car. Her partner talked a lot and I did not understand anything! Well, that's not true, I understood "catastrof" and "taliban" hehe.
She and me said bye to them for a while (we would see them in just some days). It was Katrineholm time!

I think it's a very nice town, quiet and paceful. A good place to live but maybe not the place I could work on what I want hehe. We had fika! Well, before that we walked throught the streets, those dangerous streets! I almost died! It really felt like if I was a duck walking. I didn't know where to put my feet but I had min flicka close to me :)

We went to the library, walked around the city and went to that fika place and we shared a semla! That's like the most awesome fika thing in Sweden! Sweets aren't that much sweet as in Spain, but it was awesome, jag älskar semlur.

Train arrived and well, just a train travel throught those beautiful forests and snow.

Arrived to Karlstad, it seemed such a nice city. Way more noisy than Katrineholm, way more a fast life and not that much peaceful but also nice. The first thing was to buy cereals. Supermarket was so quiet!!! Your supermarkets look like librarys hehe. Simone was so fast and effective in the cereals thing that I loved her even a bit more!

Bus to her place and we met her swedish mates, Moa and Justine. They were nice and they talked much more to me as days went :) That's great, Swedish people have something that makes them talk to me a lot I don't know why, but that's good.

We ate some pasta and then first night together. The best thing ever is to wake up together. That makes my bed so empty, I can't imagine how it feels now for her.

So, it's Wednesday morning and we have to go to class! Firs Swedish class and in the afternoon Spanish class.

But that will be in the next episode!

Swedish adventure: Part 2

First at all: Good news! I have passed some projects I did in the uni, still waiting for the marks of 2 exams.

So we were in the aeroplane. I was a bit bored of it but whatever, at the same time I was so excited cause min flicka was at just a few hours more! I sat next to the door so I could go out from the plane the first! hehe

The flight was pretty normal, no incidents. It began to appear the light of the sun so it was impossible to sleep. I saw "Pirineos", between Spain and France, it was such beautiful view.

After a couple of hours I started to see a white country. The guys in the aeroplane said that we were arriving. Just 20 minutes more. Everything was so white, the lakes were so frozen and it was all so beautiful. You have the most beautiful country I have ever seen. There were red houses everywhere.
Then we started to be closer and closer to the airport, wheels out and we landed. I finally was in Sweden!
I thought that it was going to be bigger, but whatever, I walked to the "arrivals" place and then I saw her.

The feeling can't really be described, so I won't. But it just was so wonderful to have her between my arms. Then I had her mum too haha!
Everything was so white in the way to her house and I felt great with her hand between mine. Those kind of feelings are the ones that words can't describe, it just feels the best, I was so happy.

So we went into a Supermarket and it was so quiet!!! Spanish supermarkets are so noisy compared to that one! Everything was so Swedish and different to what I'm used to.

After that we went to her mother's house (which is a flat) and we had chicken with vegetables and rice with a sauce that I liked a lot. It was a very good start with Swedish food, I liked the flavour a lot.
The TV was all in English or Swedish, we only have Spanish! And her mother was really nice, kind and "easy" haha (that was my first joke in that country, but not the last). I loved the food. I have to say that I think I like all the food, specially when it's different to what I'm used to.

But the time to leave the house and take the train arrived, so we went out from the house, left Gabbys at her father's house and it will continue in the next part!

Swedish adventure: Part 1

So, here we are again in Spain.
First at all I have to say that I had such a great time there meeting all the Swedish people, family and friends of Simone. And I also have to say that Swedish people love to talk to me, so I have a last adventure that you don't know (it happenned in the aeroplane).

So, we are on Monday afternoon, with my mum (which says hello to min flicka and her family) and me in the car, way to the train station.
Basically I go to the train, enter on it and go out when it arrives to Málaga. There my uncle picks me up and carry me to his house. We decide to wake up at 4:00 in the morning.
Maybe I slept 1 or 2 hours that night, it wasn't the easiest thing ever for me knowing that in hours I'd see her. So we went sleepy and nervous to the airport and checked that the plane departure wasn't cancelled, I said goodbye to him and passed the security place (which is bigger than Skavsta's).
There I started people talking in Swedish. That's such a difficult language! But I want to learn it, it's important for me, really important.
6:00 time to get in the plane. Everything ready to leave and a small and very cute Swedish girl smiles sneakily to me. Her hair was so blonde! I think I have something for blonde hair hehe, she was so cute and reminded me the things that I did when I was like her (around 4 or 5 years old).

Maybe sometimes I'm like a little kid (she would say "without the maybe"), but I really wanted that plane to take off and land fast! Well, I couldn't change any of it so whatever, I didn't have coffee so I slept for like 10 minutes (aeroplanes are noisy).

Then we took off and let Málaga behind us!

Day after tomorrow!

So, what's going on? Me!! And where I'm going? To Sweden? In just 2 days!

For me they will be less, I'll go to Malaga tomorrow afternoon and then "sleep" for a while before I take the plane (it takes off at 6:30). Good thing is that at that hour there isn't many movement in the airports so it should be on time :)

Bad thing is that I won't sleep a shit (ups, sorry).

But well! if I sleep at least 4 or 5 hours I'll be full of energy, I did that yesterday, when I went to bed at 12:00 and got up at 4:00 to study before the exam, yesterday night I went out and well, I was sleepy but perfectly :) I think I'm a person that doesn't need to sleep a lot.

So, see you soon!
